Native low growing sage related to our tall western sage. Fringed sage has a delicate appearance forming mounds of gray-green, hairy leaves with small yellow to white flowers in late summer. This plant thrives in our desert clime and is an excellent pioneer plant for disturbed areas or for rock gardens. Grows to 18” tall and wide. Prefers full sun and dry soil once established. Provides late summer pollen for insects.
