This native cactus grows in pinyon/juniper forests on the Western Slope of Colorado. It forms small colonies of 4-5 balls with rings of yellowish-green flowers on top in the spring. Each ball call grow up to 6” wide and be approximately 3-4” above the soil surface. Excellent for rock gardens and desert landscapes. This cactus need little to no water and prefers full sun. #1 pots
